  • Rain gear (high quality – 100% waterproof), parka length to cover to the top of hip boots
  • Sun glasses
  • Extra prescription glasses (if applicable)
  • Long underwear (synthetic medium weight) – two pair
  • Socks – 4 pair wool and 4 pair polypropelene (minimum)
  • Underwear and undershirts
  • Gloves
  • Wool or synthetic shirts (medium weight) – two
  • Belt
  • Hunting pants
  • Jacket/vest
  • Warm knit hat
  • Scarpa boots (Sheep only)
  • Glacier socks (Sheep only)


Accessories

  • Duffle bag or soft luggage (waterproof)
  • Backpack (external frame)(Sheep and Moose) (daypacks only adequate for Bear hunts)
  • Sleeping bag (synthetic +10F), waterproof compression sack, suitable for backpacking NOTE: For Spring Bear, bring at least a 0 degree sleeping bag.
  • Weapon and ammunition (soft case or gun boat for airplane)
  • Gun cleaning kit with synthetic lubricant
  • Binoculars
  • Camera and film (extra batteries)
  • Headlamp or small flashlight with extra batteries
  • Knife and sharpening steel
  • Mole skin or blister kit
