Hunt Info

With the variety of hunts available from Frontier Adventures, there also comes a variety of camps. But first, one must understand the concept of remote hunting and the advantage of remote camps. Every season, as we select where to go hunting, we are able to choose from several areas – determining where game is most likely to be, and avoiding heavily hunted areas. By hunting remotely, one is not committed to re-hunting the same areas, as one might do around a lodge. This allows access to game that is both plentiful and not as accustomed to having to avoid hunters, increasing the chances of harvesting the selected species. It also allows some level of planning in response to seasonal conditions.

For different hunts and different seasons, the camps can change trip to trip – sometimes camping in snowfields and traveling by snow-machine, sometimes floating down a river and camping on the banks, sometimes setting up temporary base camp and hiking through cliffs. Even with all these differences, the camps do have one crucial element in common. Namely, the camps are established in the field where the game resides – the best way to maximize your chances of leaving Alaska with the trophy you came seeking.
